The management of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) has released the academic calendar for the 2015/2016 academic session.
The University Senate at its meeting approved the academic calendar for the 2015/2016 academic year.

- 26 th October, 2015 -Fresh students come into residence/Begin Registration

- 1st November, 2015 – Old students come into residence
- 2 nd November, 2015 – Old students begin Registration
- 4 th – 6 th November, 2015 -Orientation for Fresh students
