Awesome: FUTO Final Year Student Builds Solar-Powered Keke NAPEP [PHOTOS]

A final year student of Electrical Engineering, Federal University of Technology, (FUTO), Owerri, Ekomobong Finbarr, has constructed and defended a solar powered tricycle (Keke) as his first degree project.
Aniekeme Finbarr Ukpong, his brother, announced the successful completion and defense of the project.

The tricycle which has no engine, but just battery and the solar system can go 11km without any hiccups.

FUTO Supplementary Admission 2016/2017 Registration

In continuation of the 2016/2017 supplementary admission exercise, the Federal University of Technology, Owerri hereby invites the under-listed group of candidates to apply online:
Interested candidates who did not make FUTO their choice of University in the 2016/2017 UTME but desire admission into FUTO.
Candidates who chose FUTO but are yet to register for screening.
The following guideline applies:
i) Visit the University Website ‘www.futo.edu.ng
ii) Click on ‘Prospective Students’
iii) Click on ‘Supplementary Application’
iv) Click on the link ‘Candidates that did not chose FUTO as their first choice but wish to apply can click on this link’
v) Enter your JAMB registration number to generate payment invoice.
vi) Print your invoice and proceed to any bank to pay a non-refundable fee of N12,500.00 using your Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) Code on the invoice
vii) After successful payment return to the portal
viii) Enter your JAMB registration number to complete the supplementary application form Online.
ix) Print out your “Acknowledgement Slip”.
Registration commences on Wednesday 26th October, 2016 and closes on Wednesday 2nd November, 2016.
Note:
Registration for Supplementary Admission ends on Wednesday 2nd November, 2016. Please be guided as stated above.

FUTO SUPPLEMENTARY ADMISSION – IMPORTANT INFORMATION.

  • The cost of the supplementary admissions form is Ten Thousand Five Hundred Naira (N10,000.00) only.
  • Candidates awaiting WAEC / NECO results should not apply as they will be screened out.
  • The closing date for online submission of the completed supplementary admissions form is October 29, 2016.

FUTO SUPPLEMENTARY ADMISSION – METHOD OF APPLICATION.

(1)  First, visit or login to FUTO Supplementary Admissions application portal @ http://portal.futo.edu.ng/Modules/Applications/Supplementary/SupplementaryApplication.aspxto check your eligibility status.
2. Print your invoice and proceed to any bank to pay a non refundable fee of N 10,000.00 using your Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) code on the invoice.
3. Alternatively you can make payment using the online payment options with credit/debit card such as Verve, Visa, Master Cards.
4. After successful payment in the bank, return to the portal.
5. Complete and submit online supplementary application form.
6. Print out your “Acknowledgement slip”.
