For Years, UKEAS have granted people from various countries, scholarship to study in other parts of the world. It was founded in Taiwan in 1993 and ever since has been in operation. It has spread to about 7 different countries of the world.
UKEAS (United Kingdom Education Advisory Service) is an international body which operates in Taiwan, China, Vietnam, Philippines, The United Kingdom, Australia and Nigeria. UKEAS was in 1993 founded with the primary goal of offering students an opportunity to study abroad.

For 25 years, UKEAS has helped a lot of students (for both graduates and post-graduates courses) who have been seeking for a scholarship to study abroad. Yearly, they help students with scholarships (into highschool, foundation programs, and for undergraduate, masters, and doctorate degree courses)

HOW TO APPLY FOR THE SCHOLARSHIP

  • As it is in virtually every online registration, the first step is to visit their official website. The first step is to Click Here. Register for scholarships (create an account with UKEAS) after which a confirmation email would be sent to you containing a confirmation code.
  • After registration, login to your account and update your personal data (such as your name, password, email, contact phone number, course of interest, intended date of study, and a little bio) after which you are to click on the update button.
  • Click on the Index button at the top left of the page and select your desired venue for the screening. When that is done, click on the register button to confirm 

NOTE: 
The screening exercise is absolutely free
You are expected to use a valid email address. Aside the confirmation, more emails would be sent into it with time, so you are expected to use your active email address so you are not left behind when important emails are passed across.

If you intend on applying for other scholarships, you can on the homepage, scroll down to the section titled UK Study, then click on the Scholarship menu option. On the new page to which you would be redirected, select the scholarship you wish to apply.

Get A Scholarship To Study In Japan

The Japanese ministry of Education, Sports, Science and Technology is offering undergraduate scholarship to non citizens (international students) who wish to study in Japan

Eligibility

  • You must be an international student to qualify for the scholarship
  • You must be between 16 - 24 years of age
  • You must be willing to learn Japanese before or after arriving
  • Applicants must submit a health certificate signed by a qualified physician attesting that the applicant has no mental or physical conditions
  • Applicant must be ready to arrive in Japan between the 1st and 7th of April 2018. Excluding cases in which MEXT deems as unavoidable circumstances, the applicant must withdraw from this scholarship program if the applicant cannot arrive in Japan by the end of the specified period above. 
  • Those who are currently applying to another program under the Japanese Government MEXT scholarship system are not eligible
  •  An applicant shall, in principle, obtain a “Student” visa at the Japanese diplomatic mission located in the applicant’s country of nationality, and enter Japan with the residence status of “Student.”
  • Eligible applicants are those who have completed 12 years of schooling outside Japan 
  • Applicant must have completed their Senior Secondary School
  • Military personnel and military civilian employers are not eligible
  • Applicants who have once been grantees of the Japanese MEXT scholarship programs are not eligible
  • Holders of dual nationality at the time of application who cannot verify that they will give up Japanese nationality by the time of the arrival in Japan are also not eligible

Period Of The Scholarship


The scholarship is to last for 5 years (April 2019 - March 2024), including a one-year preparatory education in the Japanese language, except in cases where the scholarship grantees who major in dentistry, veterinary medicine, medicine or pharmacy (in such instance, the scholarship may last longer than 5 years).

If a grantee graduates from an undergraduate course, is admitted to a master's course at a graduate school during the period of his/her scholarship and has outstanding academic achievement that meets certain criteria, he/she may have the scholarship period extended upon a successful examination by MEXT


Benefits


Allowance: 117,000 yen per month. A supplemental regional allowance of 2,000 or 3,000 yen per month will be added to the monthly scholarship amount for the grantees studying or conducting research in specially designated regions

Education Fees: Entrance examination, matriculation and Tuition fee will be made by MEXT

Travelling Fee: MEXT stipulates the travel schedule and route, and provides an economy-class airline ticket for the flight from the international airport closest to the grantee’s residence

As part of support to educational development and human capacity building, Mobil Producing Nigeria (MPN), operator of Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC)/MPN Joint Venture awards annual scholarships to qualified undergraduate students in Nigerian Universities. Applications for the 2017 NNPC/MPN Undergraduate National Scholarship is now open.

About NNPC/MPN Undergraduate Scholarship

Since 1974, ExxonMobil upstream affiliates in Nigeria – Esso Exploration and production Nigeria Limited (EEPNL) and Mobil Producing Nigeria (MPN) have supported the education of thousands of Nigerian students through the Companies’ various scholarship schemes.

NNPC/MPN Scholarship Requirement

E-applications are invited from full-time undergraduates in their FIRST YEAR (100 LEVEL) or SECOND YEAR (200 LEVEL) of study in any of the under-listed courses in Nigerian Universities:

Project Description

Applications are invited for the SPDC-JV University Scholarship Scheme which is offered by The Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria Limited (Operator of the NNPC/SPDC /TEPNG/AGIP Joint Venture).

This scholarship program is provided to Nigerians who have interest in pursuing an Undergraduate degree program in any Nigerian University.

This scholarship is in two categories – the National Merit Award (NM) and the Areas of Operation Merit Award.

(i) National Merit Award (NM) Open to all Nigerians.

(ii) Areas of Operation Merit Award For Nigerians who are indigenes of SPDC’s operational area in Abia, Bayelsa, Delta, Imo and Rivers States


Eligibility

- Applicants must be citizens of the Federal Republic of Nigeria

- Applicants must be registered FULL TIME undergraduates in

- Applicants must be a student of an accredited and approved University in Nigeria

- Applicants must have a minimum of five credits, at one sitting, including O/Levels Mathematics and English

- Applicants must have a minimum of 200 score in UTME

- Applicants must be in 200 level with a minimum grade CGPA of 2.5
