 How to Check
-Enter your JAMB Reg. Number in the pace provided.
-Re-type your JAMB Reg number to confirm it.
-Enter your PIN in the space provided.
-Click on “Login” to access your result.

University of Calabar, UNICAL post UTME / admission screening exercise application form for the 2016/2017 academic session admission is out. UNICAL post UTME minimum cut-off mark is 200.

UNICAL POST UTME – CUT-OFF MARKS, ELIGIBILITY AND TIMETABLE.

For all programmes, ‘First Choice Candidates‘ with Scores ranging from 200 and above.
The First Choice screening Exercise has been scheduled to take place on August 11 and 12, 2016
DAY ONE: 9am – 4am

For all programmes, Candidates with Scores ranging from 180 – 200
DAY TWO: 9am – 4pm
Venues for the Screening of Candidates will be made available at the University Campus.

HOW TO APPLY FOR UNICAL POST UTME.

The following options are available:
  1. E-transact option: This option is available in all commercial banks nationwide. At the bank your are required to pay and obtain an E-transact PIN. With the PIN log into the portal http://www.Myunical.edu.ng and follow the instructions on the portal after login.
  2. Scratch Card Option: This option is available in the following banks within Calabar Metropolis ONLY:
    • Unical Microfinance Bank
    • WEMA Bank
    • First city Monument Bank
    • Heritage Bank
  3. On obtaining the scratch card proceed as follows:
  4. LOG ON TO: http://www.Myunical.edu.ng and click on Screening UTME link
  5. On the home page, enter your correct JAMB Registration N0 in the box provided
  6. Enter the scratch card pin in the box provided
  7. Click on login and follow the online instructions.
  8. Confirm your entries and CLICK ON SUBMIT
  9. Print out the completed form.
APPLICATION FEE: For either option the application fee is N2,500.00 which covers the screening fee, portal and bank charges.

UNICAL POST UTME FORM CLOSING DATE.

REGISTRATION WILL SHUT DOWN AT 12.000 MID NIGHT ON AUGUST 06, 2016.

UNICAL POST UTME SCREENING EXERCISE – IMPORTANT INFORMATION.

NOTE:
  • Candidates are required to come with their original UTME result slip showing the Candidate’s photograph
  • Originals and photocopies of WAEC, NECO, NABTECH Certificates in 2 files.
  • 2 recent passport photographs
IT MUST BE FURTHER NOTED THAT:
  • Impersonation is a serious offence and anyone caught will be handed over to the Law Enforcement Agents and may be liable to up to 5 years imprisonment
  • Any candidate who fails to take part in the screening exercise automatically loses his or her chance of being considered for admission.
  • Early commencement of registration is advised to avoid congestion in the dying hours.

University of Calabar, UNICAL warns prospective students of  admission racketeers.

The attention of the management of the University of Calabar has been drawn to the criminal activities of one Uchenna Jerry whose photo and profile is published above. Our investigations have revealed that Uchenna Jerry, a staff of Airtel Network Communication, Warri, is running an admission racket which claims to offer admission to unsuspecting prospective candidates seeking admission to the University of Calabar at the cost of N70, 000.00.
For the avoidance of doubt, the University of Calabar does not charge any sum for admission to any of its programmes other than the N2, 500.00 recently approved by the federal government for post UTME screening.
Candidates who have applied to the University of Calabar are hereby strongly advised in their own interest not to patronize this or any other admission racketeer. The University of Calabar management cannot and will not be held liable for any situation where prospective candidates are defrauded by admission racketeers.

Mr. Egbe Agala Eja a student of the department of Histopathology unit of Medical Laboratory Sciences (MLS) who graduated with a CGPA of 4.8 on a 5 point scale, bagged the Provost’s award for the overall best graduating student, as well as, a special award from the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN).
Mr. Egbe thanked God for  grace that saw him through, Parents and sponsors for their support and sacrifice, and their teachers and the university management for ensuring that they got the best quality education possible in a serene and conducive environment.
He enjoined his younger colleagues to imbibe the culture of hardwork and avoid all forms of vices if they hope to succeed while pledging on behalf of other inductees to ensure that they remain good ambassadors of their alma mater.
In the Provost, College of Medical Sciences, University of Calabar closing remarks Prof. Maurice Asuquo also charged the inductees to always exhibit a high sense of professionalism in the discharge of their duties urging them to practice with utmost honesty, diligence and discretion because the lives of human beings are in their hands.

The University of Calabar has directed all newly admitted students to pay pay an acceptance fee of N15,000.00 only at Unical Micro Finance Bank (UMFB) with A/C No. 0110416443 and Union Bank A/C No. 0040986532.
Meanwhile freshmen will be expected to resume on Friday, January 29, 2016 for the 2015/2016 Academic Session.

UNICAL 1st Admission List
The authorities of the University of Calabar (UNICAL) have released the admission list of successful candidates at the university last post UTME screening exercise.
UNICAL 1st Admission List
UNICAL  admission list contains the names of candidates offered provisional admission into the various first degree programmes offered by the university.
UNICAL admission list can now be accessed from JAMB portal and the university portal. Follow the procedure outlined below to check your admission status.

  1. Go to UNICAL admission status checking portal at http://unical.postutme.org/adm1601.aspx,
  2. Enter your JAMB reg. number and PIN where required,
  3. Finally, click on Login to access your UNICAL admission status.
Note 1: The PIN required is the same one you used to check you Post UTME score.
