Applications are invited for Australian Catholic University Scholarships to pursue undergraduate and postgraduate degree programme. Scholarships are available to eligible international students commencing a course offered by the university in 2017.
Australian Catholic University (ACU) engages the Catholic Intellectual Tradition to bring a distinct perspective to higher education.
For most undergraduate courses, international applicants must have the equivalent of an Australian Year 12 Certificate and Postgraduate courses are for students who have completed a Bachelor’s degree or have significant work experience. Students can provide evidence that they have successfully completed studies where the medium of the study was English, or they can provide evidence of their English proficiency.
Course Level: Scholarships are awarded to undertake undergraduate and postgraduate degree programme.
Study Subject: Scholarships are offered to different departments across the University, all offering a diverse range of courses.
Scholarship Award: Scholarships are offered annually to up to 20 undergraduate and postgraduate students equivalent to one-half of the full-time fees1 for the recipient’s course of study.
International Student Scholarship
Scholarship Award:
- Scholarships are offered annually to up to 20 undergraduate and postgraduate students equivalent to one-half of the full-time fees1 for the recipient’s course of study.
- Up to two Higher Degree by Research scholarships equivalent to the fees1and stipend2 for recipients enrolling in a Masters by Research or Doctoral course of study3 will also be offered.
Eligibility
This scholarship is open to commencing International postgraduate and undergraduate students with outstanding academic merit of at least an average result of 80% in prior studies.
Malaysia Australia Colombo Plan Commemoration (MACC) Scholarship
Established in 2002, this initiative was developed by the Malaysian Australian Alumni Council (MAAC) to promote and cultivate Australian education opportunities for Malaysian students. Just as the Colombo Plan was originally created to strengthen ties and enhance the Malaysia-Australia education relationship, so too does the MACC Scholarship.
Scholarship Award One scholarship valued at $5,000 is available, paid as a tuition waiver for the first year (in 2 installments over 2 semesters) of an ACU postgraduate degree.
Eligibility
This scholarship is open to applicants who meet all of the following criteria:
- you must be a Malaysian citizen
- you must be eligible for a postgraduate program at ACU
- you must commence a postgraduate coursework unit either in February 2017 or July 2017 (deferment not possible)
You must NOT be:
- currently enrolled at ACU
- holding an Australian student visa
- in receipt of another form of scholarship or reduced fee arrangement.
If you hold a conditional offer, you must accept your offer immediately after meeting the conditions.
Peter Faber Business School Postgraduate Scholarship : The Peter Faber Business School Postgraduate Scholarships are available to eligible international students commencing a course offered by the School of Business in 2017. Recipients will receive a AU$1,000 tuition-fee waiver for the first year of their course, provided they continue to successfully complete all their enrolled units. Scholarships are awarded to postgraduates who have a prior academic result of 70% or greater*.
Eligibility
To be eligible for the scholarship, you must:
- be an international student
- be enrolled full-time in an ACU postgraduate coursework program offered by the School of Business commencing in 2017
- not be receiving any other form of financial assistance from ACU or the Australian Government
Scholarship can be taken in Australia
Nationality: International students are eligible to apply.
