UNIPORT Denounced Resumption Date (See NEW Date)
The earlier published University of Port Harcourt amended academic calendar for the 2015/2016 session has just been denounced by the management that it has not been approved by the authorities of the university. The management has released an information to this effect on its official website. The information emanated from the office of the Registrar. Read the release below:

This is to inform all students that the Senate of the University is yet to approve date for resumption of academic activities.The revised Academic Calendar for the 2015/2016 Academic Session will be made available on the University website when duly approved by the Senate of the University.
It is therefore safe to assume that the earlier announced resumption date might as well be invalid as a result of this. Check this site regularly as we will keep you informed as soon as an update on resumption is out.
