The Federal University of Agriculture DVC Election, Prof J.A Ayoade Emerges as Winner!
Following the election that was conducted for the post of the Deputy Vice Chancellor,
Prof. O.I.A. Oluremi who was former DVC has stepped down for Prof. J. A. Ayoade. Even though Prof. J. A. Ayoade became the only candidate for the position, yes/no vote was conducted with the following result below:
Yes votes 78
No votes 4
Neutral votes 0
Total votes cast = 82
Consequently, Prof. J. A. Ayoade who scored 78 Yes votes was re-elected as Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) for another tenure of 2 years with effect from 31st March, 2016.
Senate directed that the newly re-elected Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), Prof. J. A. Ayoade be presented to Council for confirmation.
