Miss Owunebe Mercy Bernadette

Tell us more about yourself?
I'm Nigerian, I'm Benue, I'm idoma. I'm also a student of the Benue State University.

What can you say about your INSTITUTION?
Since my admission into this school in 2012 into the remedial program, I have heard little or nothing about cult activities. So I'll say it's one of the most serene tertiary institutions in Nigeria.

Guys can you hear that...

What programme are you currently pursuing?
Am currently pursuing  BSc. Mathematics

Mathematics for a lady, c'mon you must be good at it.
Was your current programme, your dream course, if Yes, Why?
Ah, it wasn't exactly. Paths change sometimes, and I'll say mine did. But I sure do love what I do. And I'll love to one-day pass all acquired knowledge to others.

Okay

Who is your life most influential person in school, home and otherwise?
God.

It’s our honour having you responding to our questions, furthermore we will like to know your general inspection about YOU, your college and the school ecosystem in general.

What your philosophy about life generally?

With God, the word 'impossible’ doesn’t exist.

What your philosophy about student who depend on their parents for finances?
There are sometimes one cannot help but depend on one's parents. If the parents are financially buoyant, it isn't a problem. But if they aren't, then I think the responsibility is yours to assist them by reduction of dependency, I mean, there’s a good feeling that comes from doing things that brings money(legit) to yourself.

What contribution have or you can offer to your campus community?
Hard work pays, go to the moon and back.

Have you overcome any challenge at school before, if any which, and has the challenge made you or mar you?
No. have not encounter any challenges in school.

Running into your Social Life, can you please tell Scholarship Ng Readers/Followers

What do you do for FUN in your free time?
Watch movies, catch up with friends, and cook

I love the part "Cook". That remains me, we will be introducing a renowned cooker(Chef)... guess what she is a graduate of ..... do not worry next edition will feature her.

Do you have any personal skill beside formal education, if yes, which?
Yes, I make dresses. Some will call me a tailor but I prefer to call myself a fashion designer
INTERVIEW with Miss Bernadette Scholarship NG Student Face of the Month (April Edition)

Have your skills been beneficial (finances) to you, right in school, If yes, what could tell students (Nigeria Student generally) without some basic skills?.
The world is evolving and soon, formal education won't be enough to maintain one's standard of living. So find something (a skill) you're good at and develop it.

Does your high school record accurately reflect your effort and ability on your basic skills, how?
Yes, will I say it has tremendously affected my Designing Skill(Tailoring) and generally on how I handle things.

How will you see yourself in 10 years from now?
As Part of world impaction and revolution person.

If you could do one thing in your institution, what could that be?
Balance the student teacher ratio so no student is left behind owing to the fact that the person isn't in close contact with the teacher/lecturer.

We are almost most done.

Are you currently on any Scholarship If yes, Which?
Yes. I'm a beneficiary of the MTNF scholarship.
