1. Akinwumi Adesina
Akinwumi Adesina is the President of the African Development Bank. He previously served as Nigeria‘s Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development. Until his appointment as Minister in 2010, he was Vice President of Policy and Partnerships for the Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA). On May 28, 2015, he was elected to become the next President of the African Development Bank. He began his tenure of the office on September 1, 2015. He is the eighth president in the organization’s history, and the first Nigerian to hold the post.
2. Uzodimma Iweala

Uzodinma Iweala (born November 5, 1982) is an author and physician who hails from Nigeria. His debut novel,Beasts of No Nation, is a formation of his thesis work (in creative writing) at Harvard. It depicts a child soldier in an unnamed African country. The book, published in 2005 and adapted as an award-winning film in 2015, was mentioned by Time Magazine, The New York Times, Entertainment Weekly, The Times, and Rolling Stone.
3. Chude Jideonwo

Chude Jideonwo (born 16 March 1985) is a Nigerian lawyer, award-winning journalist and media entrepreneur. For a decade now, he has garnered key experience in all forms of traditional and new media, and has translated that practical experience into successful media campaigns; he is also recognised as a leading expert on New/Social Media and Youth Lifestyles. Above all, he has worked as an expert in development across the continent, mostly with The Future Project, which is focused on inspiring leadership, building entrepreneurs and innovative use of the media (traditional and new) tool for sustained social change, and which has reached millions of Nigerians, especially young people, in about 5 years.
4. Ibukun Awosika
Awosika made history by becoming the first woman to be appointed chairman of one of Africa’s largest lenders First Bank of Nigeria Holdings Plc in the bank’s 121 years of existence. She was non-Executive Director before her appointment in September. IbukunOluwa Awosika is a graduate of Chemistry from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. She is also an alumna of the Chief Executive Programme of *Lagos Business School and the Global Executive MBA Programme of IESE Business School, Barcelona, Spain.She started her working career with Akintola Williams & *Co. as an Audit Trainee. Shortly thereafter, she moved to Alibert Nigeria Ltd, a furniture company, as Showroom Manager.
5. Bilikiss Adebiyi-Abiola
Bilikiss Adebiyi is an inspiring Nigerian social entrepreneur and founder of WeCyclers. Her company offers waste collection and recycling services to the Lagos informal settlements, where an estimated 66% of Lagosians live. As a part of the process, residents are offered an incentive for collecting their household waste which is picked up for free by Wecyclers using specially adapted bicycles. Since Wecyclers started in 2012, the company has grown in leaps and bounds and has not finished any year without an award since 2013. This year, the social enterprise won the Seif Awards for social entrepreneurship. It also won $55,000 prize money at the Pitch For Lagos startup pitch event in July.
