UNIPORT resumes admission screening exercise
This is to inform all the prospective students of the University of Port-Harcourt (UNIPORT) that the screening exercise that was earlier postponed indefinitely has been resumed.
In respect of the above subject, this is to inform you that the University Management has directed as follows:
1.    Friday, 26th  August  to mid-night on Sunday, 4th   September,  2016:  Re-opening  of the  Portal for online
registration
2.    Wednesday, 7th to Friday, 9th  September, 2016: Screening Exercise in the College of Health Sciences and respective Faculties/School (the respective venues will be published on the University website in due course and via sms to candidates)
3.    Documents Needed for Screening  Exercise:
(i)    A clear copy of the Photo card printed online
(ii)    JAMB Result print out
(iii)    Original and photocopies of O’Level Examinations Certificate(s)  (WASCE, GCE, NECO, NABTEB) Examination Slips for Candidates awaiting results
(iv)    Original and Photocopies of Birth Certificate/Age Declaration
Candidates should note that Inconsistency in name or picture on Photo Card will not be acceptable to the University and may lead to disqualification of affected candidates. Candidates’ names on their O’ Level Certificates, UTME results and other registration documents must be the same.

UNIPORT Post UTME / Admission Screening Form is Out 2016-17

University of Port Harcourt, UNIPORT post UTME / admission screening exercise application form for the 2016/2017 academic session is out. UNIPORT post UTME minimum cut-off mark is 180.
Candidates who chose University of Port Harcourt in the 2016 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), with a score of 180 and above, are invited to a Screening Exercise as indicated below.  Details of the Exercise are as follows:

UNIPORT ADMISSION SCREENING EXERCISE TIMETABLE.  

 Wednesday, 7th to Friday, 9th  September, 2016: Screening Exercise in the College of Health Sciences and respective Faculties/School (the respective venues will be published on the University website in due course and via sms to candidates)

UNIPORT POST UTME REGISTRATION DETAILS.

  • Go to UNIPORT post UTME registration portal @ http://regportal.uniport.edu.ng/#putme/?init=1
  • Input UTME Registration Number and confirm pre-loaded UTME details.
  • Print slip for payment.
  • Proceed to any of the Bank Branches listed on the Registration Procedure and make payment of N2,000.00 (excluding Bank and Access Charges to an online practice test).
  • The Screening Exercise will be Computer-Based.
  • Obtain an e-Tranzact receipt showing an access code from the Bank Teller confirming the payment.
  • Login with your UTME Registration Number and the Access Code on the payment slip and print pre-loaded photo card.
  • Click on submit button and print Photo-card.

CANDIDATES who fail to register within the registration period will not be ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE SCREENING EXERCISE.

 UNIPORT PRE-DEGREE ADMISSION METHOD OF APPLICATION.

Application Forms can be obtained online on payment of a non-refundable fee of N11, 000.00 (Eleven Thousand Naira Only). Applicants should log on to www.uniport.edu.ng. Click on Application Procedure for more information.
The names on candidates’ O’ Level Certificates must be the same as what is filled online. Any false information given automatically disqualifies the applicant.
Closing Date
The sale of Application Forms will close on Friday, 9th September, 2016
Aptitude Test
The University Aptitude Test will take place on Monday, 26th September, 2016
 
NOTE WELL: All candidates wishing to transit to the Degree Programme, in addition to the required 5 Credits, must
  1. Pass the prescribed Pre-Degree examinations
  2. Have the appropriate Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) subject combination and
  3. Must have the National Minimum Score in the 2017/2018 UTME and must have chosen University of Port Harcourt.
