The National Youth Service Corps managements wishes to inform all 2018 batch A Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) that they can now check the senate approved mobilization list for their various institutions online.
 

 How to Check the List

1. Visit the NYSC registration portal via the website below;
http://portal.nysc.org.ng/nysc1/VerifySenateLists

2. Select your Institution (i.e School you graduated from),
3. Enter your Matriculation Number and Surname in the spaces provided,
4. Select your date of birth,
5. Click the SEARCH button to access the mobilization list.

Uploading of names is still ongoing and will end on January, 2018. If you don’t see your name now, probably your school is yet to upload it.

Prospective corps members are to contact their school for any issues concerning the upload.

All prospective corps members who paid for the online registration during the previous NYSC batch Mobilization process but were not mobilized need not to pay again.

Please note that ‘Registration for Remobilization’ is required only for corps members that have been mobilized in a previous NYSC batch but absconded from service.

This is to inform all prospective corps members, i.e. Nigerians who have graduated from Universities and Mono/Polytechnics both home and abroad, that the NYSC On-line registration portal will be opened from 24th October to 12th November 2017 to enable them register for the 2017 Batch ‘B’ mobilization.

In order to ensure a seamless registration, Prospective Corps Members (PCM) are to note the following for strict compliance:

1. The Website address is any of the following:
portal.nysc.org.ng/nysc1/
www.nysc.gov.ng
www.nysc.org.ng

2. PCM should ensure that they have functional e-mail addresses that they can access and Nigerian (GSM) telephone numbers with which to register.

3. Locally trained PCM are expected to use correct Matriculation numbers to register.

4. For locally-trained graduates, only those whose names appear in the Senate/Academic Board Approved Result lists submitted by their Institutions will have access to the register on the NYSC portal.

5. Foreign-trained PCM should ensure that their Institutions are accredited. Where in doubt, it is their responsibility to approach Federal Ministry of Education for verification. The letter of verification must be uploaded during registration.

6. Those who graduated from Institutions outside Nigeria, (Foreign-trained graduates), are to visit the NYSC portal, register and upload the following documents:

West African School Certificate(WASC) (with not less than 5 Credits at 2 sittings) or its equivalent; or General Certificate of Education (GCE O’ Level) (with not less than 5 Credits at 2 sittings) or its equivalent; or NECO (with not less than 5 Credits at 2 sittings) or its equivalent; or High School Diploma or its equivalent.
First Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) Certificate (Second Degree or Ph.D not necessary).
Transcript of the first Degree or HND.
International travelling Passport showing data page and date of departure for the course of study.

7. It is the responsibility of the prospective corps members who studied in non-English speaking countries to get their Certificates and Transcripts translated into English language before uploading.

8. All graduates of Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, Physiotheraphy, Radiology, Optometry, Medical Laboratory Science and Pharmacy are expected to have their Certificates of Registration with their professional bodies. Payment receipts are not acceptable.

9. Unlike in the past, Foreign-trained graduates should NOT visit NYSC Headquarters, Abuja for verification of their documents. This exercise will now be done at the Orientation Camps. They should simply print their call-up letters on-line and report at the Orientation camps in their States of deployment, but should come to the camp with the original documents they uploaded for verification.

10. Anybody who presents any fake document will be demobilized and decamped.

11. Prospective corps members should ensure that Passport photographs used meet the following specifications:
Ensure your face (eyes, nose, ears, mouth and jaw) is fully shown without bending
Ensure the picture fills the frame and centralized
Ensure the Photo background is white or off-white with no shadow.

12. On no account should prospective corps members register by PROXY. They should also remember the fingers used for their biometric capturing as these will be used for verification at the orientation camps. Those who cannot be verified with their biometric at the orientation camp will not be registered.

13. Only prospective corps members who want their call-up numbers sent to them through SMS and wish to PRINT their call-up letters on-line are expected to pay the sum of Three Thousand Naira (N3,000.00) (see NYSC Portal on how to make payment).

14. PCM who do not want to pay the N3,000.00 have the option of going to their schools to collect their call-up numbers and call-up letters.

15. All prospective corps members who paid for the online registration before but were not mobilized need not pay again.

16. Married female prospective corps members (whether locally or foreign-trained) should upload copies of their marriage Certificates, evidence of Change of name and their husbands’ place of domicile during registration.

17. The orientation camp is highly not ideal for pregnant and nursing mothers. Prospective corps members in this categoriy are therefore to note that they will not be accommodated.

18. PCM who graduated from Institutions located in the following Geo-Political Zones with challenges related to mobilization should contact the following Telephone Numbers between 23rd October to 12th November 2017:

19. All Part-time graduates are expected to register online and wait for collection of their Letter of Exclusion at their various Institutions. For those willing to print the Letter of Exclusion online, this can be done on payment of Three Thousand Naira (N3, 000.00) only.

20. PLEASE NOTE THAT ONCE THE PORTAL IS CLOSED ON 12th November 2017, THERE WILL BE NO FURTHER REGISTRATION.

The NYSC Management wishes to inform Prospective Corps Members that preparation for the conduct of the 2017 Batch ‘A’ (Stream II) Orientation Course is at advanced stage.

Management appreciates your sense of patriotism as demonstrated in your eagerness to join other compatriots in national service.

While we enjoin you to sustain the patience shown so far, we wish to assure that the Orientation Course will commence in no distant time.

This statement supersedes any other information being circulated regarding the date for the commencement of the 2017 Batch ‘A’ (Stream II) Orientation Course.

National Youth Service Corps, NYSC camp registration requirements for the 2017 Batch ‘A’ prospective corps members.

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has released the requirements for the registration at the camp by the 2017 Batch ‘A’ prospective corps members.

The requirements are as follows:
(a) Original Call-up Letter or Call-up Letter printed on-line
(b) Statement of Result endorsed by authorized officer with authentic signature.
(c) School Identity Card, including travelling Passport for Foreign-trained graduates.
(d) Medical Doctors, Pharmacists, Physiotherapists and Optometrists are to produce evidence of Registration with their Professional Bodies.

(e) Prospective Corps members should go to Camp with Functional Account Number and Bank Verification Number (BVN) to facilitate online payment of entitlements.
(f) In addition, each prospective corps member MUST present Certificate of Fitness from a Government or Military Hospital showing his/her health status before he/she will be registered and admitted for the orientation course.

National Youth Service Corps, NYSC 2017 Batch ‘A’  Stream I Orientation Course will commence from Tuesday, May 23 to Monday, June 12, 2017. See other important information below.


The 2017 Batch ‘A’ (Stream I) Orientation Course is scheduled to commence in all the NYSC Orientation Camps nationwide as follows:

i. Commencement of Registration: Tuesday, 23rd May, 2017
ii. Cut-off date for Registration: 12 midnight, Wednesday, 24th May, 2017
iii. Swearing-In Ceremony: Thursday, 25th May, 2017
iv. Official Closing Ceremony: Monday, 12th June, 2017


2. PROSPECTIVE CORPS MEMBERS POSTED TO BORNO STATE ARE TO REPORT FOR THE ORIENTATION PROGRAMME IN THE CAMP VENUE INDICATED IN THEIR CALL-UP LETTERS.
3. All prospective corps members slated for the 2017 Batch ‘A’ Stream One Orientation Course are advised to proceed to their respective Camps as stated on their Call-up Letters. Foreign-trained graduates are to report to the Camp with their traveling Passport for Identification as well as their Transcript for verification.

4. In the event of any loss of Call-up Letter, the Corps member who collected the Call-up letter from his/her Institution is advised to obtain Police Report and Sworn Affidavit, thereafter, report to the Institution of graduation for further necessary action.
Those who initially printed their Call-up Letters on-line can re-print the Call-up Letters as many times as they want in the case of loss.
