Michael Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike releases the 2017/2018 Admission screening results after 96hours from the time a candidate applies for the Admission Screening.

MOUAU POST-UTME  SCREENING ELIGIBILITY.

MOUAU POST-UTME SCREENING  – IMPORTANT DATES.

Beginning from Friday, 1st September, 2017, candidates are required to register online for the Admission screening exercise. To register, candidates must proceed below.

  3. Enter a valid email address for record purposes
  4. Input JAMB Registration number. This leads you to the Remita Payment Platform where an RRR number is generated with which payment of N2,000 will be made
  5. Payment can be made by Debit Credit Card or by taking your RRR number to any bank nationwide and deposit cash
  6. Return to the website to continue your registration. Note: Transaction charges apply
  7. Register by filling an online Application form and selecting proposed Department and other Requisite details.
  8. Candidates are required to input their O’level qualifying details for WAEC/NECO/NABTEB results obtained in not more than two sittings. Type of Exam, year of exam, Year of Result, Scratch card details (PIN and Serial Number on the card)
  9. Fetch Result from examining body (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB).
  10. Kindly note that O’level results and Number of sittings are weighted.
  11. Confirm that WAEC/NECO/NABTEB result fetched is correct before submission of form. Note: Some fields are prefilled and cannot be changed
  12. Fill the form, submit and take print-out after executing the submit button. System sends a copy of submitted forms to your email for records

The management of the Michael Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike, have release the 2016/2017 Admission List.
According to the institution, all successful candidates are expected to accept their admission (Obviously by paying their acceptance fee) on or before the next 3 weeks.
Successful candidates are expected to register online and submit all necessary documents as requested on the online portal.

REQUIREMENTS
To be eligible for admission to a Postgraduate programme of the University, the candidate must possess five O’ Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics and any other three relevant subjects at not more than two sittings.
A. POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA (PGD)
To be eligible for admission to the PGD programme, candidates must be holders of pass or third Class Honours first degree in a relevant discipline from any University or holders of Higher National Diploma (HND) at minimum of Upper Credit level in a relevant discipline.
For unclassified HND certificates, a CGPA of 3.50 (5-point scale) and 3.00(4-point scale) or 60% shall be taken as equivalent to Upper Credit.
B. MASTERS DEGREE (M.Sc.)
To be eligible for admission to the Master’s degree programme, candidates must.
i. Be graduates of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike or any other recognized Universities by Senate and shall have obtained a first degree with at least Second Class Honours.
ii. Possess a first degree with Third Class Honours from a recognized University and at least an Upper Credit at Postgraduate Diploma in a relevant field, or
iii. Possess the Higher National Diploma (HND), with at least Upper Credit and Postgraduate Diploma in a relevant field from a recognized institution, or
iv. Any other certificate or qualification that may be acceptable to Senate.
C. DOCTOR OF PHILOSOPHY DEGREE (Ph.D).
To be eligible for admission to the Doctor of Philosophy degree programme, a candidate shall have obtained a Master’s Degree which includes course work and research from this or its equivalent from any other University recognized by Senate in relevant disciplines, with Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of at least 3.5 (5- point scale) or 3.00 (4- point scale).

MOUAU Acceptance Fee, Registration Details – 2015/16

Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike, MOUAU acceptance fee payment and registration details for the 2015/2016 academic session is out.
MOUAU Acceptance and registration details
Following the release of the Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike, MOUAU admission list, the management of the institution released the acceptance fee payment and registration procedures for the newly admitted candidates.
1. Print out your admission letter from the portal (www.mouauportal.edu.ng) using your jamb number.
2. Follow the process to Accept Admission
3. Accept the Online Pledge form.
4. You will be lead to MOUAU Interswitch Platform for Online payment of Acceptance fee of N20,000.
5. You can either pay with your Bank Debit card Online or Via A Bank Deposit slip option, if you choose this option, System will generate a Transaction ID for you.
6. Take the Generated Transaction ID to any of the approved University Banks, check our Portal for this listed Banks and pay for the Acceptance Fees, A receipt will be issued to you after completing the payment.
7. Go back to the Portal under payment for acceptance Fee, Input the transaction ID and Receipt number in the Provided fields to complete.
8. After completing Payment of acceptance fees, student is lead to verify WAEC/NECO Results. This can be done Online via WAEC/NECO site thus automatically or manually. If manually an Approval is needed from the HOD of the department on the departmental Letter head.
9. After Verification of Result, Student School Proceed to the Department to Obtain Departmental clearance letter, stating that all document submitted to the department meets the departmental requirements. Verified Results must be stamped by the departments.
10. Student is to submit Stamp Verified results and Departmental Clearance to Portal helpdesk at PIUS AYIM just near the MOUAU MIcrofinance Bank to enable us Authorise them to continue with online registration.
11. After Portal Administrator has authorised the student to continue with the Registration, Student will have to pay school Fees using steps similar to the steps in the acceptance Fee.
12. After payment of the School Fees student need a Course Registration Scratch Card that can be obtained from the Micro Finance Bank ( MOUAU MFB )
13. During the Course Registration Student will have to complete a BioData Form and submit same , a copy will be printed, which the student will return a copy to the Portal Help desk and another copy should be returned to the department.
14. Matric Number will be issued automatically by the system to all students and student must submit a copy of the Bio data Form to the department with printed Completed Course registration form.
15. System will ask student to choose a user name and password with which student will access his personalized section of the portal.
