• A good National Diploma not below Lower Credit (with CGPA not less than 2.50) and basic requirements for the National Diploma Programme in the discipline .
• A minimum of One Calendar year Post National Diploma relevant Industrial experience
• Academic Transcripts which should be sent (directly) by the student’s last Institution under confidential cover to: The Registrar, Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro. NO CANDIDATE WILL BE REGISTERED BEFORE THE RECEIPT OF THE ACADEMIC TRANSCRIPT.
• A good performance in the screening exercise to be conducted by the polytechnic
• Provision of JAMB Admission letter
• Possession of the specific SSC requirements i.e WAEC/NECO/NABTEB/GCE O’level for the course for which the candidate is applying
• All candidates are expected to consult the institution’s prospectus on the portal or in hard copy to ascertain their qualification for courses for which they are applying. Candidates should not register for courses for which they do not have the requirements. 1. Log on to http://federalpolyilaro.edu.ng/
2. Click on “College Portal” on the main menu
3. Scroll down to “New Application”
4. Click on the “Generate Invoice” button
5. To generate your invoice fill in your Name and other details (as you have them on your credentials) and select your programme and Course
6. Proceed to the bank with the invoice generated. Pay at the bankand obtain a Confirmation Order Number
7. Return to the portal, repeat steps 1-3 above and click on the “Fill Application form” button
8. Enter the confirmation order number obtained from the bank
9. Complete the application form.
10. Scan and paste a colour passport-size photograph of not more than 50kb in the space provided on the online form.
11. Confirm and submit. Print a copy of the completed Acknowledgement Slip and Exam Slip.

Federal Poly Ilaro ND part-time Admission Screening Exercise.

• A candidate awaiting results of an examination is expected to give Centre No., Year of Exam and subjects taken when filling the online Application Form. When results are received, two copies must be uploaded immediately onto the portal/form using the candidate’s login details and or Confirmation Order Number.
• The closing date for the submission of Online Application Form is August 25, 2015.

• Candidates would be given scratch cards for result checking and checking of admission status on the day of the examination; they would not have to pay for this as it has already been charged to the invoice paid.
