CANDIDATES THE ARE ELIGIBLE FOR FUPRE POST UTME.

Candidates who made the Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun their Choice in the 2017 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), and had a total score of 180 and above are eligible to take part in FUPRE Post UTME Screening Exercise.

Only candidates who have five (5) credits at one or two sittings (including English Language and Mathematics) are eligible to apply. Candidates awaiting results may, however, be considered for the 2017/2018 Admissions Exercise.

FUPRE POST UTME REGISTRATION PROCEDURES.

1) Candidates are to pay a non-refundable fee of N2,500.00 (Two Thousand Five Hundred Naira) only as screening fee.

NOTE: Due to the on-going strike of the Academic Staff Union of Nigerian Universities(ASUU), candidates are adviced to check back at this website on the 10th of September 2017 for the date of the Post-UTME screening examination.

Authorities of the Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun (FUPRE), Delta State are inviting applications from suitably qualified members of the public to apply for their 2017/2018 academic session pre-degree programmes admission.

Applicants should possess a minimum of 5 credit passes including English Languages and Mathematics in not more than two (2) examination Sittings.

FUPRE PRE-DEGREE PROGRAMME – AIM.

1.    Improve prospective students’ performance in the WASC/NECO/GCE and equivalent examinations in order to enhance and to meet the admission requirements in Science and Engineering programmes.
2.    Prepare candidates adequately for the UTME and Post-UTME examinations in order to enhance their admission chances to these programmes.
3.    Improve the quality of candidates seeking admission to 100 level of FUPRE programmes and of other Universities.

The programme is an intensive nine (9) months teaching and coaching lessons in the following areas:
