FU Dutsin-Ma Registration Guidelines for 2nd Semester – 2015/16

Federal University, Dutsin-Ma, FUDUTSINMA registration guidelines for the second semester, 2015/2016 academic session.
Federal University, Dutsin-Ma Registration
This is to inform all the students of the Federal University, Dutsin-Ma that the authorities of the institution have issued out the guidelines to complete their registrations for the second semester, 2015/2016 academic session.

The Senate of Federal University Dutsin-ma, has approved that academic activities for second semester 2015/2016 academic session commence on Monday 2nd May, 2016.

Registration for Returning Students commences on Monday 2nd – Friday 6th May, 2016.

Late Registration will be from Monday 9th – Monday 16th May, 2016.

Lectures for the semester will commence fully on Thursday 5th May, 2016.

Add/ Drop Period will be from Monday 23rd May – Friday 27th May, 2016.

Registration Guidelines for FUDUTSINMA Students.

  1. Go to your department to confirm the approved number/combination of courses for the given semester.
  2. Log in to http://portal.fudutsinma.edu.ng, and do the following:
    1. Next, Click on “My Modules”
    2. Then Click on “Course Outline”
    3. Then Select “View” on the appropriate Semester Registration
    4. You will find a list of Courses to be registered. Ensure that you select the check box next to each course you desire to register.
    5. Click on “Register” below
    6. Finally, click “Confirm” to confirm your registration. (Note that after confirmation, you can no longer make changes to your course selection).
    7. After confirmation, Logout
  3. After Semester Registration, Check back after 24hrs to see if your Registration has been approved.
  4. Once approved, Go to your department and collect a signed copy of your registration form and preserve a copy for yourself.

All students are advised to STRICTLY adhere to this schedule.

WOW! FUDutsinma First Class Graduates were Offered Automatic Employment
This is so interesting, we just found out that First Class Graduates were Offered Automatic Employment. The maiden convocation ceremony of the Federal University, Dutsin-ma saw 11 students of institution graduate with first class degrees all of the First Class Graduates were Offered Automatic Employment.
Speaking during the event, the Vice Chancellor of the institution, Prof. James Ayatse disclosed that the 11 students have been offered automatic employment in the institution, so just like that the First Class Graduates were Offered Automatic Employment.
’I am glad to inform you that the university’s Governing Council has approved that appointment letters of the First Class graduands be issued to them during this ceremony,’’ he said as  First Class Graduates Offered Automatic Employment.

This is to inform both fresh and returning students of the Federal University, Dutsin-Ma (FUDUTSIN-MA) that the Vice Chancellor has approved on behalf of the University Senate the resumption date for 2015/2016 Academic Session as follows;
  1. Return of students to hostels: Saturday, 5th to Sunday,6th December,2015
  2. Commencement of registration: Monday, 7th December,2015
  3. Commencement of lectures: Wednesday, 9th December,2015
  4. Orientation for new students: Friday, 11th and Saturday, 12th December,2015
  5. Closure of registration for all fresh students: Wednesday, 16th December,2015
  6. New students matriculation: Thursday, 17th December,2015
  7. Break (end of the year): Saturday, 19th December 2015 to Sunday, 3rd January, 2016
  8. Lectures resume: Monday, 4th January 2016.
IMPORTANT: New Students to take note that according to the requirement of the law there will be no registration after matriculation.

Dutsin-Ma, FUDMA Acceptance Fees Payment Procedure 2015-16

Federal University, Dutsin-Ma, FUDMA acceptance fee payment details and procedure for the 2015/2016 academic session.
The Federal University, Dutsin-Ma 2015/2016 academic session newly admitted candidates are required to pay a mandatory acceptance charge of N10, 000 only and print Acceptance of Offer of Provisional Admission.

Acceptance/Registration and Resumption Guidelines for Newly Admitted Candidates
  1. Check the University website fudutsinma.edu.ng to confirm that your name is on the admission list and Department/Programme of Study you are admitted to study in the University.
  2. If your name is on the admission list, download the Undertaking Against Cultism (Form FUD/01) from http://portal.fudutsinma.edu.ng/admissions .
  3. Check the JAMB website and print your original admission letter fromiambonline.org.ng/unifiedtme to be tendered during clearance at the Academic Office.
  4. Log onto the portal at http://portal.fudutsinma.edu.ng/admissions to generate a transaction id for payment of Acceptance fees.
  5. Use any of the payment options listed below to pay the sum of Ten Thousand Naira only (N10,000) as Acceptance Fee.
  6. After Payment of Acceptance Fee, go to the University portalhttp://portal.fudutsinma.edu.ng/admissions to printout your Acceptance of Offer of Provisional Admission (Form FUD/02).
  7. Sign a copy of the Acceptance of Offer of Provisional Admission and take along with you all your original certificates and two copies of passport photograph to the Academic Office when reporting for registration. (You are advised to clear with the Academic Office before proceeding to the Bank to pay school charges).
  8. Proceed to the screening center with all required documents as listed above for screening and verification of results.
  9. On successful Screening from the Academic Office, login into the portal athttp://portal.fudutsinma.edu.ng/admissions and generate a transaction ID for payment of mandatory school charges.
  10. Proceed to pay using any of the payment options available. (You will be required to present the transaction ID generated before payment)
  11. Proceed to ICT Directorate for a Passport Photograph that will be uploaded to the University Portal.
  12. After paying the mandatory school charges, proceed to your department for documentation.
  13. After documentation at the department, login into the portal athttp://portal.fudutsinma.edu.ng/admissions to complete your semester course Registration.
  14. Return back to the portal after 24hr to check if your registration has been approved, if not, proceed to your department.
  15. After registering, print the following forms:
  16. Student Data Form (Form FUD/03)
  17. Course Registration Form (Form FUD/04)
  18. Medical Report Form (Form FUD/05)
  19. Accommodation Form (Form FUD/06)
  20. Matriculation Oath (Form FUD/07)
  21. Go to the University Clinic with the Medical Report Form (Form FUD/05) for medical checkup and doctor’s report.
  22. If you require hostel accommodation, login to the portal athttp://portal.fudutsinma.edu.ng/admissions and generate a transaction ID, then proceed to pay using any of the available payment options, after payment return back to the portal to print out your receipt which will contain your room number.

Guidelines on Payment:
Students wishing to make payment of mandatory school charges are advised to take note of the following payment options which can be made from anywhere within the country (each option attracts a bank charge of N300.00):
Three Payment options are available for candidates to choose from in order to make payments.
i. Cash Payment at Designated Banks
ii. ATM payment at ATM Machines Across the Country
iii. WEB on the Quickteller platform.
For cash payments; Visit any branch of: United Bank for Africa, Guarantee Trust Bank, First Bank of Nigeria, Zenith Bank Plc.
Note that you will be required to present a printout bearing your Transaction ID at the bank. After Payment has been received from you, a Payment Slip will be issued to you from the bank
For ATM; Visit any ATM machine with your ATM card and do the following:
a. select Quickteller from the ATM menu
b. select pay bills
c. Fill in the Transaction ID generated from the our portal when you are requested to enter the Customer ID
d. Fill in 65101 when you are requested to enter the Payment Code
e. Enter your GSM Number and complete the transaction.
For Web; Visit the Quickteller website to complete your transaction.
a. visit www.quickteller.com/fudmapay
b. insert your transaction ID
c. insert your email and mobile number and click “continue”
d. follow the instructions on the screen to complete your payment
e. Print out the payment confirmation slip
After successfully completing the payment, return to the portal to login and print out your payment slip.
