HOW TO PRINT FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC BAUCHI ADMISSION LETTER.

  1. Go to Federal Polytechnic Bauchi admission portal @https://portal.fptb.edu.ng/admissions/checkStatus,
  2. Enter your ‘Application Number’ in the required column,
  3. Finally, click ‘Check Status’ to access your admission letter.
Also contrary to widespread rumors about an increase in school fees, All registration fees remain same, generate your admission forms to see your details of fees.

FPTB Registration Procedures for New Students – 2016/17

Federal Polytechnic Bauchi registration requirements
This is to inform all the  newly admitted candidates of the Federal Polytechnic Bauchi (FPTB), that the management of the institution has released the registration procedures for the 2016/2017 academic session.

FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC BAUCHI REGISTRATION PROCEDURES.

  1. Admitted candidates should print their admission (See How to Print Federal Poly Bauchi Admission Letters) and report to their respective head of departments for collection of payment clearance presenting the original copies of their result(s) and other credentials.
  2. Candidates should proceed to any bank with the clearance for online payment and obtain a payment acknowledgment slip as proof of payment.
  3. Candidates should proceed to Digital Center for course registration and collection of all relevant documents including online payment receipt, which will contain details of registration as a student
  4. Students are to submit two copies of online payment receipt at the Bursary department for confirmation (Signing & Stamping).
  5. A copy of the receipt should be collected by the candidates after it has been signed and stamped at the Bursary department
  6. Students are to proceed to the Polytechnic’s medical center for medical evaluations and also proceed to a court of law for signing of the student’s oath form.
  7. Students should make two (2) copies of all downloaded forms and relevant credentials and arrange them orderly in three (3) different files and proceed to their respective registration centres for signing of the course registration forms.
  8. Students must proceed to the Academic office to complete their registration. Candidates should note that their registration will not be valid until they are fully registered by the academic office.
  9. Students should return to their department and submit a completed copy of registration forms including photocopy of signed temporary ID Card for Documentation
  10. Students should proceed to the Chief Security Officer for Processing permanent ID card

Federal Polytechnic Bauchi Admission
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi (FPTB) Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes, Pre-National Diploma (PRE-ND) programmes and Certificate Courses for the 2016/2017 academic session.

FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC BAUCHI HND ENTRY REQUIREMENTS.

A good National Diploma (ND) in the relevant field, awarded by the Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi or any other Polytechnic/College of Technology, accredited for the award of National Diploma by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) or any other equivalent qualifications acceptable to the Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi. Evidence of JAMB Admission for the completed ND programme must be attached.
Applicants must have at least one year post ND working experience (for those with a minimum of Lower Credit), evidence of which must be attached. Candidates should also request their former Institutions to forward their ND academic transcripts to the Registrar (Academic) Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi.

FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC BAUCHI HIGHER DIPLOMA, CRIME MANAGEMENT & CONTROL (HDCMC) ENTRY REQUIREMENTS.

Applicants must have a good Diploma in Crime Management and Control, Psychology, Law, Social Work and Community Development with at least Lower Credit from a recognized Institution. Acceptable O/Level results with at least Five (5) credit passes in English and Mathematics plus three (3) relevant subjects are also required.

FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC BAUCHI DIPLOMA ENTRY REQUIREMENTS.

Applicants are required to have Credit in O/L Mathematics, English Language plus any three (3) out of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Agricultural Science, Economics, Commerce, Financial Accounting, Government and any other Social Science subject relevant to his choice. Five (5) years working experience is an added advantage.

FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC BAUCHI DIPLOMA PROGRAMMES .

  1. Higher Diploma Crime Management and Control (HDCMC)
  2. Diploma in Agricultural Engineering Technology (DAET)

FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC BAUCHI PRE-ND ENTRY REQUIREMENTS.

Candidates must possess at least five (5) Passes at SSCE/NECO level, or equivalent qualification obtained at one or two sittings which MUST include English Language and Mathematics in addition to any other three passes relevant to the area of interest.   All candidates are required to sit and pass for the UTME JAMB examination and be duly admitted by JAMB before progressing to ND programmes.

FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC BAUCHI AVAILABLE PRE-ND PROGRAMMES .

This is a one-year preliminary course designed for candidates who do not meet the requirements for direct admission into the ND courses in the sciences.   Pre-ND courses are strictly meant for candidates from catchment areas of the Polytechnic and other educationally disadvantaged states. Candidates must indicate their Departments of choice from the following:

FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC BAUCHI CERTIFICATE COURSES ENTRY REQUIREMENTS.

For Certificate Course, At least 5 (five) passes including English and Mathematics at SSCE/NECO level, or their equivalent plus a relevant Trade Test Grade I Certificate.      

FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC BAUCHI AVAILABLE CERTIFICATE COURSES.

  • Certificate in Nutrition and Dietetics;
  • Certificate in Public Administration.

FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC BAUCHI – METHOD OF APPLICATION.

Applicants are to log on to the Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi website at www.fptb.edu.ng, Click on ‘NEW ADMISSION APPLICANT’, enter your details and generate payment slip (RRR) to take to the bank. After payment, return to the same website to continue your application with the Application Number and phone number you started the application with.
All applicants except those applying for ND Programme are to make payment of non-refundable fee of N6, 500.00. Applicants are to carefully follow the instructions on the website before proceeding to any Bank of their choice or REMITA.NET to pay online.
All applications should be completed on-line and submitted not later than six (6) weeks from the date of publication of this advertisement. Date of publication is June 13, 2016.

This is to inform the general public that the sales of Application form for admission into various National Diploma (ND) programmes in the Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi (FPTB) has commenced.

FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC BAUCHI ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS.

Candidates must possess at least four (5) credit Passes at SSCE/NECO level, or equivalent qualification obtained at one or two sittings which MUST include English Language and Mathematics in addition to any other three passes relevant to the area of interest. All eligible JAMB candidates who chose Federal Polytechnic Bauchi as institution of their choice are required to pay a non-refundable screening fee of N2,000.00 only to enable them upload their credentials on the polytechnic portal.

Federal Polytechnic Bauchi, FPTB freshmen orientation programme and matriculation ceremony dates have been fixed for the 2015/2016 academic session.

This is to inform all the newly admitted students of the Federal Polytechnic Bauchi (FPTB) that the authorities of the institution have announced the dates for their orientation programme and likewise the date for their matriculation ceremony.
The Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi 2015/2016 Orientation Programme is scheduled on Wed. 9th, Thurs. 10th and Fri. 11th December, 2015 by 9:00am daily @ M. L. Audu Auditorium, Fed. Poly. Bauchi.
Furthermore, the Management had on behalf of the Academic Board scheduled to conduct the 2015/2016 MATRICULATION CEREMONY on Saturday 12th December, 2015 by 9:00am @ 510 Seater Hall of the Polytechnic.
