Al-Hikmah University Postgraduate Application Form – 2017/18

Al-Hikmah University postgraduate programmes admission form for the 2017/2018 academic session is now on sale.
AL-Hikmah University Postgraduate Admission
Al-Hikmah University invites qualified prospective postgraduate applicants for her 2017/2018 academic session leading to the award of Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) and Master Degrees of the University. The M.A. degree Programmes run for a minimum period of 12 calendar months and a maximum period of 24 calendar months on full-time basis. The PGDE runs on Part-time basis.

AL-HIKMAH UNIVERSITY POSTGRADUATE AVAILABLE PROGRAMMES.

The following Programmes are available for the 2017/2018 Academic Session:
(i) M.A. (Arabic Studies)
(ii) M.A. (Islamic Studies)
(iii) M.A. (History)
(iv) PGDE (Postgraduate Diploma in Education)

AL-HIKMAH UNIVERSITY POSTGRADUATE ADMISSION – ENTRY REQUIREMENTS.

(i) Applicants for the academic Master’s degree programmes who are graduates of Al-Hikmah University, Ilorin or any other recognized Universities, must possess a minimum of Second Class Honours Degree (Upper Division). However, applicants with Second Class (Lower Division) may be admitted provided they score a minimum of 60% in a qualifying examination to be administered by the University.
Regardless of the institution where the Bachelor’s degree is obtained, ALL CANDIDATES shall apply early for their official Bachelor’s degree academic transcripts to be addressed to The Dean, Postgraduate School, Al-Hikmah University, Ilorin.
(ii) Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE): Applicants must possess a first degree from Al-Hikmah University Ilorin or any other recognized University. Holders of Higher National Diploma (HND) are also eligible. However all candidates must satisfy the University’s O’level requirements.

AL-HIKMAH UNIVERSITY POSTGRADUATE ADMISSION – METHOD OF APPLICATION.

(i)  Applicants for M.A. degree and PGDE programmes are to pay a non-refundable fee of N20,000 online after completing the form.
(ii) Print the duly completed form, online Payment Receipt and Two copies of the Reference Form.
(iii) Present the online Payment Receipt to the University Bursary Department and obtain the official receipt.
(iv) Present the duly completed form with relevant credentials (Original & Photocopy) and official receipt at the Admissions Office for immediate screening.
All Payments are made online, Al-Hikmah University does not accept cash payment or direct payment into the school Account

Applicants must possess a minimum of five (5) credits in WASSCE/NECO/GCE/NABTEB/SISC Examinations or their equivalent at not more than two (2) sittings in the subjects relevant to their proposed Undergraduate Programmes. English Language at credit level is compulsory for all candidates. Direct Entry admission is also available for applicants with suitable qualifications who obtained Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) DE Form 2017.

Authority of the Al-Hikmah University, Ilorin invites suitably qualified candidates for admission into its two (2)-year (Diploma) Programmes for the 2017/2018 academic session.

AL-HIKMAH UNIVERSITY AVAILABLE DIPLOMA PROGRAMMES.

The following Sub-degree Diploma Programmes are available for the 2017/2018 Academic Session:
(i) Diploma in Common Law
(ii) Diploma in Common and Islamic Law
(iii) Diploma in Arabic and Islamic Studies
(iv) Diploma in International Relations

AL-HIKMAH UNIVERSITY DIPLOMA ADMISSION – ELIGIBILITY.

Applicants are required to have a minimum of four (4) Credit passes at not more than two (2) sittings in the relevant subjects in WASSCE/NECO/GCE/NABTEB/SISC. Thanawiyyah/Tawjihiyyah Certificate of an Arabic Senior Secondary School duly registered with the relevant State Authorities or equivalent to any of the above mentioned qualifications will be considered.
Applicants for the Sub-degree Common Law Diploma Programme must possess five (5) credits in WASSCE/NECO/GCE/NABTEB Examinations or their equivalents at not more than two (2) sittings including English Language, Literature in English and any other three (3) Art/Social Science subjects, and at least a pass in Mathematics.
Applicants for the Sub-degree Common And Islamic Law Diploma Programme must possess a minimum of five (5) credits in WASSCE/NECO/GCE/NABTEB/SISC Examinations or their equivalent at not more than two (2) sittings including English Language, Literature-in-english, Islamic Studies or Arabic Knowledge and any other three (3) Art/Social Science subjects, and at least a pass in Mathematics.

Printing of Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB) admission letter for all the Al-Hikmah University, Ilorin students admitted through UTME and Direct Entry in 2016/2017 academic session.
Al-Hikmah University JAMB Admission Letter
This is to inform all students admitted through UTME and Direct Entry in the 2016/2017 academic session that their JAMB ADMISSION LETTERS ARE NOW AVAILABLE ON THE JAMB website www.jamb.org.ng.
Students are strongly advised to print the letter and submit the institution’s copy to the Admissions Office and their various Level Advisers in due course.
Those who did not choose Al-Hikmah University, Ilorin as First Choice and yet to apply for change of Institution would have to do so not later than Friday 28th of April, 2017 before they can print the Admission Letter. Failure to do this lead to forfeiture of the JAMB Admission Letter.

3. You will be automatically logged after successful signup. An email will also be sent to you containing your Application Number
3. Continue by carefully filling the Application Form and click submit
5.  Print the duly completed form.
