IAUE Secures 100% Accreditation From NUC

Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, IAUE has gained 100 per cent accreditation from the National University Commission (NUC).

The National Universities Commission (NUC) has given full accreditation to twenty one programmes run by Ignatius Ajuru University of Education. A letter dated 27 July, 2016, by the Executive Secretary of the Commission, Professor Julius A. Okojie and signed by the Deputy Executive Secretary 1, Professor C. F. Mafiana listed the result of the accreditation exercise carried out by NUC assessment team as follows:

4. Education Computer Science————————————-Full
5. Education Economics———————————————–Full
6. Education English Language————————————-Full
7. Fine and Applied Arts———————————————-Full
8. Education French—————————————————Full
9. Education Geography———————————————Full
10. Guidance and Counseling—————————————Full
11. Education History————————————————–Full
12. Home Economics————————————————–Full
13. Human Kinetics—————————————————-Full
14. Integrated Science————————————————Full
15. Education Mathematics——————————————Full
16. Education Music—————————————————Full
17. Education Physics————————————————-Full
18. Education Political Science————————————-Full
19. Primary Education Studies————————————-Full
20. Education Religious Studies———————————–Full
21. Technical Education———————————————Full

It would be recalled that only two programmes, that is, Agricultural Science and Social Studies got full accreditation in 2013 when the NUC team first visited. The above programmes with 100% accreditation now had interim status during that visit.
