New reports confirm that veteran Nollywood Actor Alex Usifo has bagged a PhD from Babcock University in Ogun State, and this comes days after the 63-year-old actor trended on social media because of his seeming absence from the movie scene, prompting conversation about him and what he has been up to. According to this Naij report, Usifo achieved this new feat in education on Sunday, June 5. Usifo ruled the screen with exceptional performances in series and films, including Ripples, The Return Of The Natives and Heaven’s Gate.
In 2011, Linda Ikeji Blog, reported that the veteran Nollywood Actor resumed work as a lecturer at Babcock University in Ogun State in 2011, where he taught the History & International Studies students. But it is unclear if he still is a staff of the private university. Meanwhile, the actor who stars in mini-series, Dusk, where he plays a professor, is being congratulated by fans for the great feat.
