See UNIJOS New Vice Chancellor
Prof. Sabastian Seddi Maimako has been appointed the new Vice-Chancellor of the university of Jos.
This was contained in a statement issued on Friday in Jos by Mr Abdullahi Abdullahi, Principal Assistant Registrar, Information and Publications.
The new VC is expected to assume office on June 23, 2016, after the expiration of the tenure of the current VC, Prof Hayward Mafuyai, on June 22.The appointment followed the Governing council’s consideration of the recommendations of its Selection Board at its special meeting held on Friday, April 22, 2016.
The appointment is for a single term of five years.
