LAUTECH; 105 Students Bag First-Class Honours

One Hundred and Five students of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, LAUTECH will bag first class degrees at its 13th convocation ceremony.
LAUTECH Convocation One Hundred and Five students of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, LAUTECH will bag first class degrees at its 13th convocation ceremony.  LAUTECH Convocation  It has been revealed that no fewer than One Hundred And Five persons will be awarded 1st Class Honours certificates at the 13th Convocation Ceremony of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso (LAUTECH).  The Vice-Chancellor of the university, Prof. Adeniyi Gbadegesin, stated this in Ogbomoso, Oyo State, at a briefing to herald the institutionโ€™s 13th convocation.  Gbadegesin disclosed that a total of 10,317 first degrees and 14,349 higher degrees  would be awarded during the ceremony. In addition, 105 of the graduating students bagged First Class honours with 50 students in 2013/2014 and 55 students in 2014/2015 academic sessions,  2,434 students made Second Class Upper while 5,527 students are in Second Class Lower division and another 1,692 in the Third Class division. Also 122 graduating students bagged Third Class while 437 are in the unclassified category.  The VC disclosed that Ige Olufemi Elijah of the Department of Mathematics and Sanni Saidat Abidemi of the department of Statistics emerged best graduating students for 2013/2014 and 2014/2015 respectively.
