Only 60% of Jamb result have been released say Ojerinde, more to be release very soon
Professor Dibu Ojerinde, the Registrar to Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board on Thursday disclosed that only about 60% of JAMB results have been released by the board. This goes a long way to restore hope to over (1,475,477 – 895,000 = 580,477) candidates that have not been able to see their results, JAMB is aware of this and is working on them.
Emphasizing that the Computer Based Test UTME results were sent to candidates’ phone numbers as SMS within 2 hours of each exam day, the Registrar blamed non-receipt of results via text on the candidates saying they may have submitted wrong phone numbers during their online application for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations.
Prof. Ojerinde’s statement therefore goes a long way to reassure JAMBites with pending results and those whose status show as No Result Yet that the Board is fully aware of several result issues and problems.
It is expected that as the examination winds up this week, the rest of the 580, 477 candidates will be able to check their result – unless otherwise a candidate is found to have been involved any form of malpractices or failed to thumbprint or follow other instructions as given by JAMB prior to the onset of the examinations.
