UNIJOS Pre-Degree Admission Form is Out – 2015/16

University of Jos, UNIJOS pre-degree sciences programme admission application form for the 2015/2016 academic session is out.



The management of the University of Jos (UNIJOS) is inviting suitably qualified candidates for admission into its 2015/2016 academic session PRE-DEGREE SCIENCES PROGRAMME.

Candidates Eligible for UNIJOS Pre-Degree Programme.

Candidates must possess WASC/SSCE/NECO/GCE ‘O’ Level or its equivalent with a minimum of five credits including English Language and Mathematics. Candidates with awaiting results will not be considered

Candidates must possess any combination of 5 credits from the following: Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Further Mathematics and Biology or Technical Drawing or Fine Arts.

The Pre-Degree Sciences course which is strictly for science students is mainly for students of the catchment states of Plateau, Nasarawa, Niger, Kwara, Benue and Kogi only.

UNIJOS Pre-Degree Admission Method of Application.

Application forms are available online on the University’s website www.unijos.edu.ng after the payment of the sum of four thousand naira (N4,000.00) only.

Return of Completed application Forms

All completed application forms must be returned, on or before October 1, 2015 to the Registrar, University of Jos, P.M.B. 2084, Jos-Nigeria and should contain the following:

i. Certified copies of academic qualifications

ii. Two recent passport size photograph

iii. Indigene certificate

iv. Birth certificate or statutory declaration of age

Note:

The University does not provide accommodation for candidates offered admission into its Pre-Degree Science Programme

All Pre-Degree Science Students are also required to sit for JAMB UTME or any other prescribed examination and score a minimum National cut off point in order to be absorbed into the University of Jos degree programmes

Number of candidates eligible to participate in the University of Jos, UNIJOS post UTME screening exercise for the 2015/2016 academic session.

Based on the performance index released by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB), we present our readers who are prospective students of the University of Jos (UNIJOS) the number of candidates qualified for the institution post UTME screening exercise.

UNIJOS last cut-off mark was set at 180. So if UNIJOS should go with 180 this year again, below are the statistics of candidates eligible to participate in the university post UTME screening exercise.

First Choice: 25,498 candidates
Second Choice: 340 candidates
Third Choice: 118 Candidates
Fourth Choice: 0
Total: 25,956 candidates.

UNIJOS Accommodation - How to Pay

University of Jos, UNIJOS hostel accommodation portal has been opened for registration for the 2014/2015 academic session.
UNIJOS Host Accommodation Portal
The Director of Students’ Affairs has announced the opening of Hostel Accommodation Portal for the 2014/2015 Academic Session from Friday April 10, 2015.
All students interested in securing accommodation for the session must have first paid school charges for the session.

UNIJOS Resumption Date for 2014/2015 Session

This is to inform students of University of Jos that the school will reopen on 6th March, 2015

It would be recalled that the institution was shut down following protests by students due to increase in fees.

All students are to resume on this new date.

Meanwhile,registration for the new academic session is on going for the remedial students.
